Have had the DUO 1060 it for six weeks now, using it every day and so far very pleased. The pedometer is a very useful feature which I use during jogging/running (shows distance,speed, time elapsed). Also during running/jogging/walking records a whole load of data e.g max/min speed & max/min heart rate (if wearing the chest strap), calories & fat burned. Equally in the gym all workout data is recorded on the watch and the chest strap transmits the heart-rate to the gym equipment so heart-rate is displayed on the treadmill etc screens. Touching the watch with one finger gives an instant heart-rate reading which is a nice feature as a reading taken anytime during the day and it appears to be pretty accurate. On the chest strap there is a cover over the battery so that it can be accessed for replacing, unlike my last watch where I had to replace the whole strap.
The watch itself is a little bit heavy and bulky which can be annoying during daily wearing but not a problem during...

First off this is not a bad looking watch. I got this watch to keep track of my speed and distance but find it does not work as well as i had hope,well you get what you pay for.

I have the Trail Runner Bodylink 589 which is not listed on this item and hence I couldn't test it! I need the T54051 also sold by Amazon (but more expensive!) My 5 star is an assumption that the product works with the stated watches as it is a Timex item and they build excellent equipment. I just wanted to review the product to state which Timex watches this strap is compatble with as Amazon haven't done so!

When I run I like to keep a log of when i do and how far I've gone. Runners who run every day or who are pros probably don't need one of these - just a watch that does splits. However if you work and run irregularly having a device that tracks your distance is very useful especially for setting goals. This watch comes with a heart rate monitor but you'll need the extra foot pod to track distances. The HRM lets you know which "zone" you are in to let you target fitness or anaerobic speed, It sends its data wirelessly to your PC via a small USB dongle and crucially unlike the Polar watches it is also Mac compatible. The display is very nice and clearly legible when running. It is more akin to the forerunner 300 & 400s with customizable screens. It is much better than the previous forerunner 50 (which I have too). It does lack GPS but then again the price is a league lower than the cheapest GPS watch. - Original Device Faulty, Replacement Dreamy
UPDATE: Based on my original review, I gave this product 1 star. Since returning the device and doing more research, I decided the FR60 really was head and shoulders above the rest for what i need. The Amazon returns process was so fast and hassle free, I figured I could work under the assumption that the original problem I had was a one-off and order another FR60. If I had the same problem again, I could just return it.

Happily, I did not get the same problem again. And I've explored the features of the watch more fully, and am absolutely sure this is the best HRM out there for ~

- Excellent HR Watch
I bought this watch for Polars HR functionality and it does what it says on the tin. No weird spikes at start of training, immediate response to change of intensity. Ability to detect your zones or manually override is good. Also there are various different screens which you can customise what is displayed during the training session.

Also got the Footpod which is very accurate when correctly calibrated, however calibration factor will vary between terrain, different running shoes and if you change your running style at different paces. The calibration is never off by more then 5% as the manual states but imagine running an extra 5% of a marathon. I now have a list of calibration factors for each situation but if the watch had the ability to reset calibration factor during a training run without stopping the watch then this would be a huge benefit.

Overall The HR/watch rocks and the footpod is brilliant when its calibrated correctly but it does take some time to...
- Good HRM, shame about the connectivity
I use this heart-rate-monitor (HRM) daily when I'm running and cycling and once you've gone through the process of setting it up, it takes seconds to get going. The watch is comfortable to wear on the wrist and the buttons are large enough to be easily accessible even when jogging or cycling about. The screen is also large enough to be clear without having to stop and stare at it. The watch also packs a bunch of additional features such as a fitness test which I have found to be in-step with a Cooper fitness assessment and a fitness log to keep track of your workouts. You can also program the watch with various work-outs so that you can easily change settings without having to re-enter targets and training times.

The downsides I have found to this watch are:
- The case can be marked quite easily. This includes both the face of the watch and the rubber outer.
- You need to buy additional accessories if you want to liberate your training data for analysis, but...

this product arrived promptly even at Christmas. It is everything I wanted and I am still working out all the extras on it. Definitely going to improve my training.

- It's a watch for narrow wrists!
I had to send it back because I couldn't fit it around my wrist! My wrists are just over 8 inches circumferance and the watch would only just close around the wrist but with a pinch! After a few minutes of exercise it would ping off!
The description wasn't clear and to be fair Amazon refunded me for the watch and postage.
- Ladies heart rate monitor
I bought this as the description had everything I needed at a good price. Unfortunately it should be labelled for ladies as the watch strap is very small, I have small wrists and i'm using the last hole. That aside the functions are very good and useful and its easy to set up and use. It also doesn't look that bad to were as an every day watch. The heart rate sensor is very comfortable and after a while you forget your wearing it. Over all its not a bad bit of kit just don't buy it if you have average or above size wrists.
- I like it (more than I was expecting)
The watch is small (appropriate for a woman or a man with small wrist like me) and light. It is very easy to use and has a lot of functions for such a low cost watch (2 time zones + date, an alarm, a timer, a stop watch, a recovery summary screen and, obviously, the hear rate).
The strap is very narrow but seems resistent and ideal for running as it allows air circulation in the wrist.
All in all, I really like it. More than I was expecting.
