- Excellent Item
I am really pleased with this HRM and was glad that I went for the T4D and not not the T3D model so that I got the coaching function. The watch is neat and light to wear, though is a little complicated to use at first. You really do have to download the full instructions from the internet. I went on to purchase the foot POD which is excellent too and gives me added information of speed and distance, all through the wrist watch.
I'm not a serious athlete but enjoy keeping fit and healthy and like all the stats this watch gives. The coach also helps me not to overdo it and manage the intensity of the exercise so I am now able to try new programmes and know how it's helping.
The only slight niggle is that the display is not very bright and so you need to use the light, which is a bit awkward when you are running but this is only a minor thing.
I would highly recommend this HRM to anyone, whether an athlete or a gentle exerciser.
- Mac users beware
I brought the MoveStick along with a T4d watch from Amazon, as always great service from Amazon and price was the best i could find. However the product specifications state that they will both work with Intel based Mac computers to transfer data to Movescount.com but this is not the case 3 days in and several calls to the Suunto help line and no joy. I tested the hardware by using my Windows PC at work and got an instant sync but it just wont have it with my Mac. looking round on a couple of forums and this seems to be the case for everyone trying to pair to Mac. Im very dissapointed that i have brought a product that does not do what it is advertised as doing and all Suunto can tell me is they hope to address it in the next software update but have no idea when that may be.!
